Exciting news for local accountancy firm, Beresfords.

1st December 2021, saw Beresfords chartered certified accountants successfully complete the acquisition of Canterbury’s MHA Macintyre Hudson’s small business department.

Beresfords Chartered Certified Accountants have today announced the acquisition of MHA Macintyre Hudson’s small business department in Canterbury, along with 5 members of the MHA team – growing the Beresfords Group to a total of 35 across their three offices, Hawkinge, Ashford and their Cheriton office, C-Bas.

Mark holds a wealth of experience and will be bringing his diverse portfolio of clients consisting of owner managed businesses ranging from startups to medium sized groups. He also acts for a number of charities and specialises in Solicitors Accounts.

Senior Partner, Phillip Hindle said “This is an excellent opportunity for Beresfords and adds to the already successful work we have done to grow the Practice, making Beresfords the biggest firm in the Folkestone area, bringing the big firm skill sets from MHA into the small business market in a firm better suited to these clients that can offer a more hands on personal service. That’s not the only announcement Beresfords have had this year. After over 25 years at their previous offices in Castle House, Folkestone, the firm purchased their first premises in Hawkinge in March 2021. Beresfords, despite of COVID-19 has recruited for 8 new roles since March 2021 and plan to continue to create even more roles into 2022.
