This year, Beresfords’ chosen charity is Sunflower House, a local community charity based in Folkestone. They provide vital support to individuals and families who may be experiencing isolation, financial hardship, or challenging life circumstances. At the heart of their work is a welcoming and inclusive community hub, offering a safe space where people can access support, connect with others, and take part in a wide range of activities.

Their services span over 50 different projects, including wellbeing sessions, social groups, practical support initiatives, and community outreach programmes, all aimed at improving mental health, reducing loneliness, and strengthening the local community. Their work makes a real and lasting difference to many people across the area.
